This bundle includes two dynamic lessons based on Van Gogh's gorgeous, but lesser-known painting Landscape from Saint Rémy 1889. For ages 8 and up we recommend either the Drawing or Oil Panting lesson. For younger kids, start with the trace-and-color Van Gogh Bus (page 7 on the Drawing Lesson Handout).
Students will learn to:
- Draw captivating lines that lead the eye into the landscape
- Paint solid masses of color to give the artwork a good design foundation
- Add textured strokes in the style of Van Gogh: swirling, repeating and thickly layered
